OpeniBoot - Linux Kernel 2.6 runs on an iPhone

Apple is always particular about which software must run on their amazing hardware. To be more specific, they prefer only "Pure" softwares, developed by Apple to run on their devices, may it be an iPhone or Apple Mac. Recently with the release of App Store they seem to be a bit soft, letting general enthusiast developers to write Apps for iPhone/iPod Touch but only after the team scrutinizes it and then testify its worth.

But Guys, this is truly a world without Fences, Gates, Windows and Walls right? Everyone wants freedom! Some crazy linux developer nick-named PLANETBEING has succeeded in developing Open iBoot, a iPhone Linux distro.  YES, Linux Kernel 2.6 has been ported into our lovely iPhone!
